Our Morning Out

Despite the fact that Avery has been teething and both her and Gracie have had some congestion, we still got out of the house this morning. We got up and out early so we could beat the heat. Oh, how we are so ready for Fall! So, we went to the park...Bryson's favorite! I feel like a better mommy when I can get Bryson out of the house and do something with him that he likes. Mostly, it is taking him to the park. Sometimes we go to the pool, to the library, or just simply take a walk outside and play some in the backyard. People see me with Bryson and the twins at the park and tell me I am brave. Well, what do you expect? I can't keep a three year old boy cooped up in the house all day with two babies! Plus, he loves it and I love to see him smile and have fun...

Gracie being Gracie

We decided to take a stroll and pictures around the trail...

And then, we played on the other playground for a little while...

My favorite part of our morning was Bryson telling me, "I love you mommy!" in the speaking tube. Of course, I told him to tell me that, but it still counts! :o)

Doctor's Visit

No ear infection! Thank you Lord! We guess it is just teething pain. What a crazy time this is. Avery seems to be taking it a lot harder than I remember Bryson took it. Poor thing. It also could be a combination of her teeth and the fluid drainage in her ears from her last ear infection. Also, she has had a lot of congestion. Hopefully, this will pass soon!! Thanks for the prayers!!

Our Avery....

Our little Avery, not feeling so well. Is it another ear infection or is she just teething? We will find out this afternoon...

Overwhelmed

This has been an overwhelming day. Avery has been extremely fussy today. We skipped church this morning and watched the service on the Live Feed. Thank you God for the Live Feed! Avery has been fussy for the past three days and, today, it has gotten worse. So, we are not sure what it is. Whether she is teething, or whether she has another ear infection. She is tugging and rubbing at her ears. She has been gnawing on her hands. She rubs her cheeks all the way to her ear and then starts tugging at her ear. It is both ears this time. She just finished her last dosage of her antibiotic the other day. She is still congested, but has a dry cough. I would think the antibiotic would have cleared everything up. All these symptoms are symptoms of teething as well as symptoms of an ear infection. So hard to tell! I guess we will see what tonight and tomorrow brings. We may have another Dr.'s appointment tomorrow. If it is her teeth, wow...I did not know teething hurts that bad! I guess some babies take it harder than others.

Happy Friday the 13th!!

I did not realize today is Friday the 13th until a friend pointed it out on Facebook! I have always liked Friday the 13th! Must be a teenage memory thing.

Well, today has been a good Friday the 13th! I took the kids to the park this morning. We ended up going to White Deer Park...Bryson's favorite park because Daddy built it!! I got some good pictures and let me say, it is very hard to keep up with a three year old and twin babies at a huge park. I lost eye of Bryson a couple times, must be a Friday the 13th thing, but then I found him running around. Somehow, I managed!

GG and Great G-Pa came over for a surprise visit once we got home. Bryson loves seeing his Great Papa! They got plenty of sugar from the girls. Then, the kids took a nap. Avery woke up first and so I took her to Bryson's room to wake Bryson up. Bryson looked up at Avery and said, "I want to hold the baby". Of course, I let him hold her in his bed. Such a sweet moment. And then, the moment got even sweeter when I went and got Gracie and they all three cuddled up in his bed. These are the moments I will cherish...
