Our Sweet Kiddos

Cute little boy!

I want fall mommy!
This is double trouble!

Taking a walk
Sissy, can you hear me??
Yes, I can hear you!
...Now I can't, haha!

Anyone in there?

Avery thinks so!

This book is making me sleepy!
The End!

Around The Pearce Home

So much has been going on around here lately. You can probably tell from my lack of blogging!

Everyone is doing well. The girls finally had their 1 year shots after being sick with a virus and then having ear infections. The appointment was very long for just shots and an ear check up. They were so unhappy. I have never seen either of them so upset trying to catch their breath. I do believe it makes it harder having both the girls in the room at the same time seeing each other get upset and have shots, ears checked, and so on. Gracie has finally started walking now. Oh, she takes off so much faster than Avery and then she flops on her buttocks! We knew she would be fast since she is a fast crawler. It is adorable! Avery is a climber and not afraid of anything. She is a feisty little one!  Yesterday, I sat Gracie in the rocking horse and now she rocks away. She loves it! I have captured so many videos of them. I need to get one uploaded on here!

Bryson has been doing good. He is such a good, sweet little boy. He came to Bryant this morning when he woke up and said, "Give me a BIG hug"!! What a charmer! He has definitely had many of his "moments" since we found out a little of what is going on. It gets very difficult. Sometimes, I am not sure what to do. I am just anxiously waiting for his therapy to start, as well as find out if anything else is going on with him from the physiologist. His first OT and Speech appointment will be back to back on the 27th.

Our lives have been filled with so many appointments, including Avery's PT appointments, my photography, Bryant's busy job working full time now with lots of overtime and so much more. Please pray for us and Bryson as we go through the therapy with him and deal with the changes we will be making in our home for him as well as finding out what else may be going on! God is so good to us and thankfully, we have access to therapy to help him get through this!

My Limited Time

My time is very limited now that I am working on my photography portfolio. Here are some family pictures and others for now!

Outside Weather

We are looking forward to a weekend of nice weather. Spring is finally here and the kids know it. Avery and Gracie will find their shoes and show them to me hinting for me to take them outside. Bryson is already asking to play outside when he wakes up! (still a little chilly in the mornings!)

Our Little Ones

What a blessing it is to have three kids in our house, and four if he would pose for pictures during the times he is here (maybe I can talk him into it next time he comes over!). Even though we have all been sick, I still managed to keep my camera handy...

Bottle before bed.

Bryson is getting better at smiling for the camera!
Daddy took this one of us at the park a few weeks back!

The Crud is Finally Leaving

The messy crud made its way back into the Pearce home. The kids and I have been sick for the past week and a half. I am finally starting to feel a little better. Avery and Bryson are much better. Gracie went to the Dr. today and has an ear infection. We are all ready to start feeling 100% better and get back to our normal everyday crazy routine, instead of spending half the day wiping messy noses! I am praying this is the last of this cruddy mess this season, hopefully throughout the summer. It is getting old, but we do not take it for granted when our kids need more kisses, holding and and simply just loving! They are so worth this messy crud!

It Hurts....

Tonight, I passed by the preschool Bryson was attending and I was filled with mixed emotions. I feel horrible for putting him through that for so long. At the same time, it was a great opportunity for him, because we are finding out early what is going on. Bryson is a normal kid and we want so bad for him to be in preschool with the other kids, play with other kids normally, and not have such a hard time. Unfortunately, it is going to take some time. I see a long road ahead coming up with the therapy, the psychologist and so on.

For now, we know that Bryson definitely is performing significantly below his age level demonstrating delayed fine motor skill development. Bryson has a definite difference in how he is processing sensory information in the areas of auditory, vestibular(movement), touch, and oral-sensory. This means that he is under or under responsive to certain sensory input. This gave us many answers to why he acts out and behaves the way he does. He does not mean it, he is such a sweet little boy. I struggle everyday to get him bathed, dressed, teeth brushed. He hates it. He throws a fit. But, at the end of it all...he tells me thank you mommy, and sometimes he will tell me he is sorry. We tell him we love him all the time, no response from him. We know he loves us. I can't wait until the day he comes to me "out of the blue" and he tells me, " I love you mommy!" . I am sure Bryant feels the same way.

We are blessed to find out this much so far and know that we can move forward in a positive way to help him. And, like I said before, I always try to remind myself that this could be worse. It still hurts.

Wedding Night Out

Had a wonderful, well needed night out at Amy's wedding. Sure did miss Bryant being there, but had lots of fun and enjoyed seeing a beautiful wedding!
